# Queries from visualize from selected fields don't appear to work

Whenever I add selected fields from a discovery query and then attempt to visualize them they work fine. If I try to use the search box to refine these none of these queries appear to work properly.

Hi smingol

This looks like a bug on the first sight, is the behavior only to watch when you're using am "EXISTS" filter, or also with other filter types?

Any filter types appear to exhibit this behavior.

I can't reproduce it, which version of Kibana are you using? what do you mean by "If I try to use the search box to refine these none ". Could you provide a detailed instruction what you're doing? Many thx!
