Hi all,

Is there a query to return the http.max\_content\_length prior to sending data?

Cheers

I thought it might be in `GET _cluster/settings`, but it's not that I can see.

I am not sure if there's any endpoint that would expose this unless you set it via a `POST _cluster/settings`, that is, it's then not stored in a config file.

I found the same as well. Is anything returned as part of 413 that would indicate the maximum size?

I don't know off the top of my head sorry, but you could easily check if you've got a large file you could send through.
