# Question about building a MAP Visualization Object

Hi, new on this so apologize if i am not asking the right question here. I am trying to add a MAP LAYER (EMS Boundaries type) for World Countries (using Kibana 7.8) by using my index built through logstash Jdbc Oracle Database. According to the index visualization, Iso Country Code (2 bytes long) field is ok although i see only the KEYWORD field and not my original field. When building the JOIN at EMS map i get a message that no data matches although i am sure there is enough data to be shown at the map. Do you know what could be wrong ? Thanks

Are you using [Maps application](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/maps.html) or the region map visualization?

Can you open inspector and view the contents of the aggregation response? What values are getting returned?
