# Question about Digital ocean droplets and ELK

Hello everyone,

I am considering getting a Digital Ocean droplet to install ELK on and practice some things. I was wondering what should the sys requirements be? This is not going to be a Prod install so nothing critical is going to depend on this droplet.

I was going to go with either the default 25 gig, ubuntu 18 lts server, 1 gig of RAM, 1 TB data transfer and 1 CPU core. Would that work fine or should I go with the 2 gig of RAM and 2 TB transfer?
