# Quick question on scheduler for Logstash

When using a scheduler on logstash input plugins (elasticsearch, or http\_poller), if you run every 2 weeks, or every 20 mins, when does the first one run? Does it run in 2 weeks, or it runs now and then in 2 weeks?
