# Rally 0.7.2 released

We have just released Rally 0.7.2. In this release we have prepared Rally for the upcoming Java 9 release ([#265](https://github.com/elastic/rally/issues/265)), we have simplified the configuration when you use Rally across multiple nodes ([#315](https://github.com/elastic/rally/issues/315)) and have fixed a couple of bugs and internal enhancements. See the [full list of changes on the 0.7.2 release page](https://github.com/elastic/rally/releases/tag/0.7.2).

## How to...?

- ... upgrade: `pip3 install --upgrade esrally`
- ... install: `pip3 install esrally`

Note: Depending on your system setup you probably need to prepend these commands with `sudo`.

Please follow the [quickstart](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/quickstart.html) for a first time install.
