We have just released Rally 0.7.3. With this release Rally is fully compatible with Java 9. You can also more easily create new tracks. With the new parameter `--track-path` you can just reference a track file directly instead of the previous more complex git workflow. Please see the [updated tutorial to create tracks](http://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/adding_tracks.html) for a complete example. We have also implemented several other usability improvements. See the [full list of changes on the 0.7.3 release page](https://github.com/elastic/rally/releases/tag/0.7.3). ## How to...? - ... upgrade: `pip3 install --upgrade esrally` - ... install: `pip3 install esrally` Note: Depending on your system setup you probably need to prepend these commands with `sudo`.
