# Rally 1.4.1 released

We have just released Rally 1.4.1. The highlight of this release:

- [#890](https://github.com/elastic/rally/pull/890): Speed up client-side bulk-handling

There are also a breaking change that can be viewed in [the migration docs](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/migrate.html#migrating-to-rally-1-4-1).

## How to...?

- ... upgrade: `pip3 install --upgrade esrally`
- ... install: `pip3 install esrally`

Please follow the [quickstart](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/quickstart.html) for a first time install.
