We have just released Rally 2.0.4. This is mostly a bug fix release also adding a few enhancements: - We [deprecated running Rally without a subcommand](https://github.com/elastic/rally/pull/1155) so be sure to always specify the `race` subcommand when you run a benchmark. Rally 2.1.0 will always require a subcommand. Please also see our [migration guide](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/migrate.html). - We [added a new assertions property for operations.](https://github.com/elastic/rally/pull/1157) Use `--enable-assertions` to enable checks and Rally will raise an error if the check fails. - The command line report [now shows the mean throughput.](https://github.com/elastic/rally/pull/1146) ## Quickstart Please follow the [quickstart](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/quickstart.html) for a first time install. ## Questions and Feedback If you have questions or feedback, please just post in the [Rally forum](https://discuss.elastic.co/tags/c/elastic-stack/elasticsearch/rally). ---
