# Random\_score is available on App Search?

Hello, I'm trying to get a randomized result using App Search, but I can't find a way to archieve that.
I've seen that Elasticsearch does include a random score option ([Random Scoring | Elasticsearch: The Definitive Guide [2.x] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/guide/current/random-scoring.html))
Is there any way to access to that feature?

There's unfortunately no way to access that feature through App Search.

Similarly to the question I've asked here: [Passing min\_score to elastic in query](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/passing-min-score-to-elastic-in-query/227032)
would it be possible for you to pass on additional options to elastic at query time instead of throwing an error? It seems that many users will hit the end of the functionality that's wrapped in app search explicitly at some point, then will need to make the costly decision to either switch to raw elastic or implement a wrapper on our side that duplicates functionality that's in elastic natively...
