# Recovery Notification from uptime alert

Dear forum,  
I'm new to elk world, as we trying the stack at work. Impressed!  
We are trying to work with the Uptime module and the heartbeat. I manage to setup an simply alarm check alive using icmp which works pretty ok when the host is down .  
But when the host comes up , the alarm , dont send an recovery alert. Is there such an option ? or any way to trigger recovery notification when an alarm comes clear ?

Hi @Vaggelis_Xylogiannis Welcome to elastic discuss forum, i am glad you are impressed by ELK stack.

Alert resolution/recovery is still not implemented but good news is that it's in the pipeline, you can track issue progress here [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/49405](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/49405)

Our alerting team is hard on work to make alerting more awesome. Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion.
