# Reference one dashboard from another?

Hello,

We have various dashboards that are interconnected, some provide more details like a "drill down". Instead of going out to the top-level view and selecting a new dashboard, is there any way to load or reference another dashboard while already within a dashboard? like to get more relevant details on something of interest .... This would provide more continuity in the user experience...

You can use [drilldowns](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/create-drilldowns.html) to navigate from one dashboard to another when applying filters to panels

You can also create [markdown panels that link your other dashboards](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/how-to-add-a-link-url-to-a-dashboard/72225)
