# Refresh index from database

Hi Support,

We have an existing database index created from Logstash process using JDBC input plugin.

Now database is continuously modifying. So that without dropping existing index it append all database entries in the index.

We need to refresh/reload data from Database and append in the existing index through API.

Please suggest.
