# Regular expression help

Hi guys

I'm struggling with a regular expression in kibana and cannot make it work.  
I have this source: "/path\_to\_logs/logs/2017\_06\_28.logfile.log" that log file changes everyday starting with  
the current date as part of it's name , I want to make search for a pattern that include all those \*.logfile.log but cannot make it work.

Any help appreciated

Hi @Kernel_Panic

try this: `.*\/(logs)\/.*`  
or if you want match path\_to\_logs insert that in the parentesist.
