# Reindex from remote broken again in 5.4?

It's indeed broken, it will be fixed in 5.4.1. We've added integration testing for 0.90.13, 1.7.6, and 2.4.5 so that hopefully this is never broken again. See [https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/24561](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/pull/24561).
