# Reindex specific documents

Hi,

I have accidentally mixed docs into an index (not going to go into how lets just call it a silly config mistake)

I have luckily tagged the docs and would like to reindex all docs that meet a specific tag.

Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to reindex just the docs that meet the specific tag?

You could use a reindex with a query.

See this [example](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/docs-reindex.html#docs-reindex-select-query) in the documentation.
