# Relying on default value of \`pipeline.ecs\_compatibility\`,

私自身もまだ pipeline.ecs\_compatibilityの設定がどういうものかはっきり理解できていませんが、  
[こちらの記事](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/warning-relying-on-default-value-of-pipeline-ecs-compatibility-after-updating-to-logstash-7-16-1/292018)の記事でも話題に挙がっていますね。

元のご投稿されているエラー（というか警告）でも  
which may change in a future major release of Logstash. To avoid unexpected changes when upgrading Logstash, please explicitly declare your desired ECS Compatibility mode.  
とあるとおり将来に備えてpipeline.ymlもしくはlogstash.ymlで明示的に指定することで解消されるのではと思われます。
