Remote reindex Elasticsearch API giving Null Pointer Exception

GET ..../tasks/{taskid}

```auto
------
-----

"error" : {
    "type" : "null_pointer_exception",
    "reason" : null
  }

```

Can someone know what could be the cause of the exception??
