# Remove fields from documents based on their value

In the past I have [used](https://discuss.elastic.co/t/aggregate-problem/142572/7) logstash to generate a text file that I curled into elasticsearch, but it could probably be done using an [http](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-http.html) filter. You do not have to have an output in a logstash pipeline.
