# Remove \_id, \_index, \_score, \_type fields from index by logstash

I want to delete above fields from event in Elasticsearch  
from logstash config

Use a mutate filter to remove the field.

I don't believe you can remove those fields.

Yeah. I realized that lately. We can not delete even through mutate filter.
