# Remove weekends from Timelion or Timeseries

New to Kibana and Elasticsearch, and need some help.  
We have documents that are mainly created during the week, and very small number of documents on the weekend.  
When document is created we mark each document with dayOfWeek so that we can use that information in queries.

We are building a Time Series graphs, and we would like to remove weekends from the graphs. Is there a way to do this? Show only the weekdays in the x-axis.

Hi @calvinAtSelerity,

There currently isn't a way to exclude weekends from the x-axis. I have found a GitHub issue from a  
while ago requesting the feature ([https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/2942](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/2942)). Feel free to 👍 the issue and / or express your interest there to help prioritization.
