I've been trying out the Canvas and got the problem that I can't remove the time range for a view if I make it on the Select type\>Create tab. Is there anything I'm missing or that's how it is?

There's no way to remove this unfortunately, feel free to open a feature request here: [Sign in to GitHub · GitHub](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=Feature_request.md)
