Is there a way to resolve an incoming field from an external source (i.e. a csv file?). I'm working with auditd and I want the syscall field to be resolved to the actual syscall name rather than the integer for easier reading. Similarly, one could resolve the uid/auid of a user this way as well.

Thanks in Advance.

Have a look at the translate filter.
