# REST api call to get the JVM arguments?

is there a REST api call to get the JVM arguments from the started elastic search process?

Yes, the [nodes info API](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/cluster-nodes-info.html) returns this. For instance `GET /_nodes/jvm?filter_path=nodes.*.jvm.input_arguments`
