# Restoring snapshots to a new system

hello with snaphsots, if you have a curl job to backup daily, if you need to restore to a new system, will you need to restore every daily snapshot individually?

no, you just restore a single snapshot with the correct date you want to restore from, Elasticsearch takes care of the rest.
