# Restrict/Remove unnecessary fields in MetricBeat

Regarding your solution here, I've tried the same but got no luck.

I've enabled only System, CPU, Memory, Process Status/Modules. I tried to use the processors (drop\_fields, include\_fields - MetricBeat is running as service in linux machine. I've restarted the service but still in the kibana output, I'm seeing the fields again)

Can you please help me in this.

I can post the logs if you can reopen the question??

Hi @Vijay_Chander,

Sorry, but the first link in your question is not working for me, so I'm not sure of completely understanding your issue. Did you try `drop_fields` but it is not working? Could you share your configuration?
