# Restrict the Kibana controls using Shield

Hi Every0ne,

We have Configured Shield with kibana ...It is working...

But is it possible my shield to restrict the Controls of kibana like creating the dashboard,creating visualizations by only particular user only........

if that is not possible by shield......Is there any other Alternative..

Please Help me Out Regarding This if possible...........

This isn't currently possible with Kibana.

Hi Warklom,

We have installed kibana 4.5.4 and shield 2.3.3 ........Please suggest for this version whether we can do access control using shield... i.e restricting kibana controls through the shield users
