# Retrieving data from Database using Elastic search

Hi,  
I am trying to pull data from database using Elastic Search,

I have created below river:

PUT [http://localhost:9200/jdbc\_river/river1/\_meta](http://localhost:9200/jdbc_river/river1/_meta)  
{  
"type":"jdbc"  
"jdbc":  
{  
"url":"Mysql URL"  
"driver":"Mysql driver"  
"username":"username"  
"password":"XXXXXXX"  
"sql":"select \* from orders"  
}  
}

Note:Above code working fine but when am trying to create one more  
river(below code) its not working for me

Please help me, Am trying to display the Elastic Search result using kibana.

Type should be jdbc
