# Reverse chronological order in data table

Hi there,
I already have built some data table with a timestamp field but every time kibana refresh, the timestamp column switch to chronological order and i would like to have this timestamp column set by default on reverse chronological oder.
I can't find the option, is there any way to do that ?

Unfortunately, this is a known issue at the moment and I'm not aware of any workaround. However, there is a PR up that should be very close to being merged that should fix this: [https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/5953](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/5953)
