Hi,

Is it possible to make filebeat rotate a file based on time instead of on filesize? So that you can make it rotate once per hour or once per day or whatever you choose?

Cheers, Eric

Currently, it's only possible to rotate beats logs on size. Feel free to open an [enhancement request](https://github.com/elastic/beats/issues/new) with this feature.
