Hi,

We have an index which stores data around every 10 minutes. We have added this index to the metric indexes to create alerts/rules. We are trying to create alerts from properties with float data type.

For some reason, the alerts are not trigger, even during when we execute the "Test alert condition" when it is clear that an alert should be trigger. See the screenshot below where we are looking for an alert to be trigger if the value is above 0.5, but while testing the condition, 0 instances of the alert are created (see screenshot).

We cannot explain, because this is not happening with any other index, either metricbeat or other custom indexes which we are using to create alerts/rules.

if you could help to understand what could be wrong.

Thanks,

Zareh
