# Running es rally

Hi Team!

I need to test the performance of an elasticsearch cluster and check:

- how much compute and RAM needed to run 20K requests for a minute
- my current cluster is set up on elastic cloud

Is this something es rally tool can help with?

I am referring to this link: [Quickstart - Rally 2.10.0 documentation](https://esrally.readthedocs.io/en/stable/quickstart.html)

What configurations should i make so I can accomplish this. Please help
