# S3 Documentation Stale

I've noticed that the official docs at [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/master/plugins-outputs-s3.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/master/plugins-outputs-s3.html) are fairly out-of-date relative to what's in github at [https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-output-s3](https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-output-s3). Several newly-added config options aren't reflected, and number of changes to existing options haven't shown up.

I think the documentation site is auto-generated from the source repository, maybe there's something that broke down in that process for the s3 output in particular? Glancing around other plugins don't appear to have the same problem.
