# S3 Input Plugin - S3-compatible REST endpoint configuration

I'm new to Logstash and this forum, so I apologize if this has been answered previously.

I'm using an EMC S3 instance, not an AWS S3 instance. The [S3 documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-inputs-s3.html) shows how to configure the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. Is there a way to way to configure the S3-compatible REST endpoint as well?

No, it's S3 only at this point. I think there's an issue on GH for this though.
