# Safe way to Restart the ElasticSearch Cluster

Hi-  
I have 4 nodes added to my Elastic Search Cluster in Production, I have installed a plugin, which would require a restart of the cluster. Could someone point out to me to documentation of a safe restart of all the Nodes. Thanks !

Something like [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.6/rolling-upgrades.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.6/rolling-upgrades.html) should work.
