# Search\_after with dates that can have undefined values

So I am using the search\_after option to obtain a pagination of documents. I am using the values in the sort array before as input to the search after. The sort value is a date which could be undefined for some documents. The value returned in the sort fails to be parse with BIG\_INTEGER issue. Am I doing something wrong?
