# Search on hostname with special chars not giving results

Hi everyone, i'm trying to find results based on the hostname, my hostname for test purposes is "----" and i can't filter results using it, doesn't elasticsearch accept hostnames to be like this? or do i have to change something in the query?

thanks in advance

P.S: i don't have another hostname to test if it works for it
