Hi,

I am quite new in Elasticsearch and I have some questions. The case is "FS-Crawler" is used with Elastic to index a group of documents. I am trying to search (using NEST) the content of the documents with filtration for some fields like (file\_name, file\_created) and I want to select specific fields to return. I followed the link below:

> **[Selecting fields to return | Elasticsearch.Net and NEST: the .NET clients...](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/client/net-api/master/returned-fields.html)**

Is there another way to search without enabling `_source` option in the indexing stage?!

Thanks,
