My indexs are named index-2019.02.28 etc and data with the same id is inserted every day. So essentially a duplicate of the data is entered every day.

However sometimes a new document is entered that I havent seen before, is there a way to create a visualisation to see the documents that are there today but were not there yesterday?

Timelion has an `offset` feature that allows you to compare data from different time periods. Perhaps that will help.

[See the second example here](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/6.6/timelion-create.html).
