# Self-managed App Search with SSL enabled

Hello,

I am trying to connect Logstash to App Search output with SSL enabled. I am getting this error:

```auto
Pipeline error {:pipeline_id=>"main", :exception=>#<LogStash::Configura
tionError: Failed to connect to App Search. certificate verify failed>

```

There is already a [reported bug](https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-output-elastic_app_search/issues/9) in Github about this issue, but no clear solution is given.

Can anyone help with this?
