# Send collected metrics to a custom collector

Is it possible to configure Metricsbeat to send the collected metrics to a custom collector running on a remote machine?

Metricbeat can be configured to send the collected metrics to remote servers as Elasticsearch or Logstash. You can check the supported outputs and their configuration options in the [Metricbeat output documentation](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/current/configuring-output.html).
