Hi All,

We have 2 Kibana dashboards & need to give it to some other teams for read only access.

1. There must be two separate credentials to access two different dashboards
2. User should not have access to other dashboards
3. User should be restricted to access only their respective dashboards and should not have access to navigate through KIbana application.

Please help me how can I achieve this. I tried nginx proxy, using rewrite rules, I am able to open up the dashboards but only with the same credentials.
Also, user is able to navigate through the site and other pages.

Thanks,
Bharat

If you use a recent version (6.5+), you should be able to achieve what you need with :

- [https://www.elastic.co/blog/introducing-kibana-spaces-for-organization-and-security](https://www.elastic.co/blog/introducing-kibana-spaces-for-organization-and-security) - You can create one space for each dashboard/user with basic license
- [https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/xpack-dashboard-only-mode.html](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/xpack-dashboard-only-mode.html) - in case you want the user to only be able to view dashboards (and see a limited UI), you can give that use this role and read access to the index

[Bharat] - We are looking for only freeware solution

[Bharat] - It needs xpack security to be installed, does it require any license?
