# Shards in UNASSIGNED CLUSTER\_RECOVERED even after full restart. How to fix

Hi,
I have many shards which are in the state UNASSIGNED CLUSTER\_RECOVERED . How to fix this ?

- Which ES version?
- Looks like you did a full cluster restart, are you sure that all the nodes have rejoined the cluster?
