# Ship metrics to Graphite

Is there a way to ship metrics to Graphite ? If yes can you please provide an example.

Hi Raghav,

Apart from the fact that I never tested this, the only way I can imagine would be to send from metricbeat to logstash:

> **[Configure the Logstash output | Metricbeat Reference \[7.13\] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/metricbeat/current/logstash-output.html)**

and then ship the metrics via the graphite ouput

> **[Graphite output plugin | Logstash Reference \[7.13\] | Elastic](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-outputs-graphite.html)**

But like I said, never tested if that works. Let me know if you had luck.
