Hello Team,

Currently the log shipper is started from the command prompt using the command java -jar logstash-1.2.2-flatjar.jar agent -f shipper.conf
Hence if the user closes the window, the service is stopped.
Is there anyway to install the log shipper as a service in windows

Regards,
Binuraj

That's an absolutely ancient version of Logstash. But yes, it should be possible to install is as a service. Windows's own SC command can help you, or a helper such as NSSM.

To the point where it is no longer supported.
