# Should Metricbeat Kafka module consumergroup now bee working?

I've found the ticket for #5880

but can't work out from that whether I'm supposed to be seeing consumergroup working or not (Metricbeat 5.6.7, Kafka 1.0.0). So is it
(a) yes, it should be working, I'm doing something wrong
(b) no, it hasn't been released yet, a future version of 5.6.x will include the fix
(c) no, it'll never be fixed in 5.6.x, I'll have to upgrade to 6.x
or something else?

It didn't make it into 5.6.7, but the next 5.6.8 will incorporate this fix.
