# Show explicit timestamp in timelion?

Hi threre,

in a bar / line / area-chart in kibana5, you see the detailed timestamp in the tooltip:

I built the same query in timelion.  
What I like in timelon is:

- grid in the background
- drops a line to 0 if no results are there in a sample fragment
- showing the current time marker in all timelion seets at once.

But my question is, how can i see the exact time of the timemarker below the mouse cursor?  
If we have an incident, I need to know exactly when it happens and I would like to see it directly in the chart.

thanks for sharing your use case and the suggestions.

- The requests for [a tooltip](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/9746) or [a more detailed legend](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/9587) are being tracked on GitHub.
- Zero-filling in normal Kibana visualizations has also been requested in [#5911](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/5911).

Please feel free to add your voice to the issues - any input is highly appreciated.
