# Showing milliseconds as seconds

Hello.

Is there a way to tell to Visualize Metrics, in my case, to show milliseconds in seconds (those are just numbers)?  
So, is there a way to put /1000 somewhere and round it?

Hi,

Have you tried to change your field parameters in Management -\> Index Patterns -\> edit your field (column controls) ? You can here select a Duration format and change the Output Format to Seconds and then select number of decimals.
