Hello,

I would like to know if a snapshot with a failed shard can be retried without restarting the whole process.

Thank you

There is no retry, so you would need to run the entire snapshot again unfortunately.

Hello,

Understood, but is possible to restore a partial snapshot and what are the consequences of this?

Thank you

Hi,
There is an option to select indices manually within restore screen, have you tried deleting "RED" indices and try to restore them again using different snapshot?

Hello,

The thing is I have a huge index (~10 TB) that was snapshotted with partial status (1 shard out of 60 failed, replica set to 1). What I am getting into if I attempt a restore it?
