Does the country field contain a valid IP address you can use in the geoip filter?

Nope don't have a valid IP but user may indeed travel to different office in a different country, so the profile country is the correct one.

Any idea on what is actually wrong.

Any idea?

geoip filter require an IP address as input. If you have a field with a country or place name, the geoip filter can not be used. I am not aware of any existing filter that maps place names to locations so you may need to create your own, possibly using the [translate filter](https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/current/plugins-filters-translate.html).

No, I unfortunately have no examples of how to best do this.
